Fast Grass

The Fast Grass rebranding marked a significant transformation, starting with just a basic logo and expanding into a full-scale project, fueled by the owners' trust and creative freedom. Key efforts included enhancing their social media presence with custom content for daily promotions, contributing to a unified brand image online.

A partnership with the FORM festival in Arizona led to unique promotional materials designed to excite and thank their community. The April 20th celebration further allowed for creative customer engagement through a prize wheel, with designs that blended festive spirit with promotional offers.

Additionally, the project involved designing functional punch cards for a loyalty program and cost-effective branded stickers for product packaging, demonstrating innovative solutions for brand visibility and customer engagement. These efforts collectively showcased a blend of strategic branding, user engagement, and cost-efficient design solutions.

In the midst of redefining the brand identity for FastGrass.Org, the potential for amplifying their market reach through an enhanced online platform became evident. The goal was to establish a digital hub where both prospective and existing patients could gain insights into the offerings and conveniently place orders. A unique challenge arose from the legal constraints surrounding online transactions for cannabis products, necessitating the development of a system that simulated the e-commerce experience while finalizing transactions via phone verification by the team.

Another significant hurdle was the digital management of inventory, necessitating seamless integration with their existing Content Management System (CMS). This task involved direct collaboration with the CMS developers, pioneering the application of a WordPress plugin that was still in its nascent stages. This endeavor not only tested my problem-solving skills but also enriched my technical repertoire.

The success of Fast Grass eventually attracted acquisition by a larger entity, prompting a transitional phase for the brand. During this period, I was entrusted with crafting a succinct one-page website designed to convey all essential information in a streamlined format, pending full integration into the acquiring company's ecosystem.

An integral component of this project was the incorporation of my photography skills, bridging my passion for visual storytelling with professional requirements. The arrangement with Fast Grass's owners involved the procurement of a studio kit, granting me the opportunity to undertake product photography. This collaboration not only served the brand's visual content needs but also allowed me to revisit and hone a skill that held personal significance from my time in the Navy, fostering a mutually beneficial partnership.
